Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and EDGE Spray LLC ("EDGE", "we", "us"), 120 Hawley Street, Binghamton, NY 13901. They cover your use of edgespray.com and every order you place with us.
Please read section 13. It says most disputes are settled by individual arbitration, not in court, and that you give up the right to bring or join a class action. You can opt out of it within 30 days (section 13.7).
1. Agreeing to these terms
By placing an order, creating an account or using our website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not order. Our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Text Message Terms are part of these terms.
2. Who can order
You must be at least 18, or order with the permission of a parent or guardian who accepts these terms for you. Many of our customers are parents buying for young athletes, and the parent is the customer.
3. Orders and prices
- Prices are in the currency shown at checkout. Taxes and shipping are shown before you pay.
- Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we ship it. We may cancel an order, with a full refund, if a price or product was listed in error, if we suspect fraud, or if we cannot ship to your address.
- We may limit quantities.
- Discount codes have the terms shown with them. Unless they say otherwise, only one code applies per order, and codes have no cash value.
4. Payment
Payments are handled by Shopify and the payment provider you choose (for example Shop Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay, Amazon Pay or Afterpay). We do not see or store your full card number. A provider's own terms apply to your use of it.
5. Shipping, and risk of loss
Our Shipping Policy explains delivery times, delays and what happens if a package is lost. If you order from outside the United States, you are responsible for any duties and taxes your country charges, unless checkout says they are included.
6. Returns and our 60-day guarantee
Our Refund Policy explains the 60-day money-back guarantee for US orders and how returns work. Nothing in these terms takes away a right your local law gives you.
7. Using EDGE products
- Use our products only as the label and our instructions say. EDGE Grip Spray and Grip Wipes are made for the rubber outsoles of athletic shoes on smooth indoor surfaces, and for the other uses we describe on our product pages, such as golf grips and football gloves.
- Use them on the gear, not on the floor or court, and not on skin. Keep them away from eyes and out of reach of children.
- Try a small area first if you are unsure about a surface or material.
- Better grip does not prevent slips, falls or injuries. Sports carry risk. Use proper footwear, follow your venue's rules, and use your judgment.
- Whether a product is allowed in your league, event or venue is for its rules and officials to decide.
8. Reviews, photos and other content you send us
- You keep ownership of reviews, photos, videos and other content you send us ("your content"). If you post about us on social media, we will ask before using your post in our ads.
- When you submit it, you give us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, copy, edit, crop, translate, display and share your content, with your name or username, on our website, in emails and texts, on social media and in advertising, in any media, for as long as we use it.
- You confirm that you have the right to give this license, and that anyone shown in it agreed to be shown.
- If you ask us to stop using your content in new material, email team@edgespray.com and we will. Material already published or paid for may run its course.
- Reviews must be honest and about your own experience. We do not edit the meaning of a review, and we may decline to post a review that is off-topic, abusive or breaks the law.
9. Using our website
Please do not misuse the site: no hacking, scraping, bots that place orders, reselling of our content, or anything illegal or harmful to others. We may suspend access or cancel orders for misuse.
10. Our content and trademarks
EDGE®, our logos, product names, photos, videos and text belong to us or our licensors. You may view and share our pages for personal use. Anything else needs our written permission.
11. Warranties
Our promise is the 60-day money-back guarantee in our Refund Policy. To the extent the law allows, any implied warranty on our products, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, lasts 60 days from delivery, the length of our guarantee, and no longer. Some states do not allow limits on how long an implied warranty lasts, so this limit may not apply to you. Our website is provided "as is", and we do not promise it will always be available or error-free.
12. Limit on our liability
To the extent the law allows, EDGE is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim about an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. These limits do not apply to death or personal injury, to fraud, to gross negligence or willful misconduct, or to anything else the law does not let us limit.
13. Settling disputes
13.1 Talk to us first. Before filing any claim, you and EDGE agree to try to settle it informally. Send a written notice with your name, contact details, order number if any, what happened and what you want, to team@edgespray.com or our address above. We will do the same for you. Neither side may start an arbitration or a small-claims case until 60 days after the notice is received. Deadlines to file are paused during those 60 days.
13.2 Individual arbitration. This section applies to customers in the United States. If we cannot settle it, any dispute about these terms, our products, our website, our marketing (including texts and emails) or your orders will be decided by binding arbitration before JAMS, under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules and its Consumer Arbitration Minimum Standards, and not in court. The arbitrator may award any remedy a court could award on an individual claim. This applies except as section 13.4 says. An arbitrator, not a court, decides any question about whether a dispute must be arbitrated, except questions about section 13.5.
13.3 Fees and place. Your share of JAMS's fees will not exceed what its Consumer Minimum Standards allow. EDGE pays the rest. The arbitration can happen by video, by phone, in writing, or in the county where you live.
13.4 Exceptions. Either side may instead bring an individual claim in small-claims court, if it qualifies. Either side may go to court to stop infringement of its intellectual property.
13.5 No class actions. You and EDGE each give up the right to bring or join a class action, a class arbitration or a representative action. Claims are resolved one at a time. If this section 13.5 is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim goes to a court and is never arbitrated as a class. To the extent the law allows, you and EDGE each give up the right to a jury trial.
13.6 Many similar claims. If 25 or more similar demands are filed against EDGE by the same or coordinated lawyers, JAMS's Mass Arbitration Procedures and Guidelines apply, and you and EDGE agree to them. That includes JAMS's power to batch, consolidate or group the demands.
13.7 Opting out. You can opt out of this section 13 within 30 days of your first order under these terms by emailing team@edgespray.com with your name, your order number and "Arbitration opt-out". Opting out does not affect the rest of these terms.
13.8 Federal Arbitration Act. This section is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act.
14. Governing law
Except for section 13, New York law governs these terms, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any case allowed in court under these terms will be in the state or federal courts in Broome County, New York, unless the law where you live gives you the right to sue there.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version shown when you place an order applies to that order. A change never applies to an order already placed, or to a dispute we were already told about.
16. Other
If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term right away, we have not given it up. You may not transfer these terms; we may transfer them to a company that takes over our business.
