Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information EDGE Spray LLC ("EDGE", "we") collects when you visit edgespray.com, buy from us, or get our emails and texts, and what we do with it. Contact: team@edgespray.com · EDGE Spray LLC, 120 Hawley Street, Binghamton, NY 13901.
What we collect
- You give us: your name, email, phone number, shipping and billing address, order details, messages to our team, survey answers, reviews and photos, and, if you tell us in our pop-up, who you are shopping for.
- Payments: handled by Shopify and your payment provider. We see the payment type and the last digits of a card, never the full number.
- Collected automatically: your device, browser, IP address and rough location, the pages you view, what you add to your cart and buy, how you reached us (for example from an ad), and whether you opened our emails or texts. Cookies, pixels and similar tools collect this, ours and our partners'.
- From others: Shopify (including its Shop app), payment providers, shipping carriers, and advertising and analytics partners. They may tell us, for example, that you clicked one of our ads.
How we use it
- To take, ship and support your orders, and handle returns and disputes.
- To run and improve the site, including testing prices and page designs.
- To send emails and texts you agreed to. Order and shipping messages go to every buyer.
- To show you EDGE ads on other sites and apps, and measure whether ads work.
- To prevent fraud, keep the site secure and follow the law.
Who we share it with
We share information with companies that help us run the store, and with advertising and analytics partners. By kind, with the main ones named:
- Our store and payments: Shopify (including its Shop app and Shop Pay) and the payment providers you choose, such as PayPal, Afterpay, Amazon Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
- Email and texts: Klaviyo (email) and OneText (texts).
- Site tools: our pop-up, reviews, product-suggestion, survey and testing tools.
- Shipping and support: our warehouse, shipping and label services, the carriers, our customer-service tool, and the service that handles payment disputes.
- Advertising and measurement: Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google, TikTok, and similar advertising and analytics partners, which we may change over time.
Advertising partners collect information about your visits through their own cookies and pixels on our site. They may combine it with what they know from other sites and apps, under their own privacy policies. Shopify may also use store data to improve its services, under its own policy.
We also share information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or others' safety, or if our business is sold.
We do not sell your information for money. Some of the ad sharing above may count as "selling" or "sharing" under some state laws, and you can opt out of it (next section).
Your choices
- Opt out of ad sharing: use the Your Privacy Choices link at the foot of every page.
- Emails: click "unsubscribe" in any email.
- Texts: reply STOP to any text. See our Text Message Terms.
- Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser. Some site features may stop working.
- Do Not Track: browsers' "Do Not Track" setting has no common standard, and we do not respond to it. Use Your Privacy Choices instead.
Your rights
Wherever you live in the US, you can ask us:
- to see the personal information we hold about you;
- to correct it;
- to delete it;
- to stop using it for targeted ads.
Email team@edgespray.com with the subject "Privacy request". We will confirm it is you, answer within 45 days, and not treat you differently for asking. You may use an authorized agent. If we decline a request, you can appeal by replying to our answer. If you are in the EU or UK, you also have rights under local law, including complaining to your data-protection authority.
Texts
If you sign up for texts, we use your number to send what you agreed to. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your opt-in to texts, and the fact that you gave it, are never shared with anyone else. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message we send.
Children
Our products are sold to adults, including parents buying for young athletes. Our site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you think we have, email us and we will delete it.
Keeping and protecting information
We keep information as long as we need it for the purposes above and for tax, accounting and legal needs, then delete it or remove what identifies you. We use reasonable safeguards. No system is perfectly secure.
Visitors outside the US
We are in the United States, and your information is handled here and by our partners elsewhere. If you are in the EU or UK, your local law gives you rights over your information, described under Your rights.
Changes
If we change this policy, we post the new version here with a new date, and for big changes we will tell you by email or on the site.
